FORT LAUDERDALE — Amy Beth Bennett of the Sun-Sentinel interviews Fort Lauderdale Mayor Jack Seiler on the economic impact of the Lauderdale Air Show, set for April 28-29.
At least 500,000 people a day are expected to hit Fort Lauderdale beach to watch military and civilian aviation displays. The mayor flew in a Bonanza beside pilot Mike Goulian, one of the Air Show performers. Goulian also accomodated NBC 6 Miami, Sun-Sentinel photographer Joe Cavaretta and videographer Bennett and AP Photo News representative George Maznicki.
